Carlos Guerrero was born in Ford City, Pennsylvania on June 17, 1924 to Fermin and Carmen Ledesma Guerrero. The family moved to Moline, IL where he graduated high school and went to work for John Deere. He joined the Army and served in WWII from 1943-1945 in which he was part of the Invasion of Normandy. He was honorably discharged with multiple medals. After the war he moved to Mexico City to attend college.

There he would meet his wife Teresa. They eventually settled in Long Beach, CA. where he began working for Douglas Aircraft and North American Aviation. He left aerospace to work as a probation officer for Los Angeles County for 10 years. He returned to Boeing where he would retire in 2003 at 79.

During his retirement he enjoyed many baseball games and good times with his family. Carlos also loved Jazz music and golf.

Carlos Guerrero went with the Lord and joined his wife in eternal rest on February 2nd.

Survivors include his sons Charlie, Mike, Fermin, Roy and John, His Brothers Ruben and Raulie and Sister Carmen. In addition his grandchildren Chasen, Shaina, Kaya and Makai.
