Charles Frazer
November 15, 1934 — June 15, 2019
Charles Alexander Frazer "Chuck" passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 15, 2019 at the age of 84. He was born in Harbor City, grew up in Long Beach and was a resident of Lakewood for over 56 years.
Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 63 years Julie Frazer, their two children Julie Anne and Karyn, their grandchildren Robbie, James, Lacey and Jeffrey and great-granddaughter Alice. Chuck is also survived by his sister Linda, many nieces and nephews and has twin great-grandchildren on the way! He was so excited about the twins!
He graduated from Wilson High School in 1952 where he participated in water polo, gymnastics and tennis. He also met his life long friends and future wife at Wilson.
Chuck joined the Marines in 1953 and married his wife Julie while he was stationed in Kaneohe Bay in 1956.
Chuck worked many years for the Department of Water and Power and enjoyed camping, water skiing and bowling.
Chuck was kind, generous and always ready to help someone.
Chuck will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
