Cecilia Louise Palmer

Cecilia Palmer, a long-time resident of Cerritos, CA, passed away July 8, 2021, at the age of 69 with her son, Walter (“Trae”), by her side. Cecilia is survived by her son, Walter Palmer III, her three sisters Theresa Waitzman, Susan Gath, Donna Herrera, and her brother James Gath. Cecilia was born in Missouri on September 18, 1951 and was a proud United States Army Veteran, a very active member of her Church, a loving wife and partner to Walter Palmer II (who preceded her in death in 2018), a loving mother to her son, a wonderful sister, aunt and good friend. Cecilia was considered family to many and she was the type of person we all should aspire to be. Cecilia was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers and she loved Disneyland, holidays, teaching English, trivia nights and most importantly, family. She enjoyed her career of just over 46 years at the Buchalter Law Firm in Los Angeles and was most beloved because of her generosity and kindness. She was caring, giving, and trustworthy and was always the first to help anyone in need. Her wit was quick and her mind was sharp.
