Caroline Janet Alvarado

Caroline Janet Alvarado, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Long Beach surrounded by family on August 14, 2017.
Carol was born on August 30th, 1928 in Kansas, grew up in Colorado, graduated from Colorado University Boulder, and moved to Long Beach in 1954. She was an organist playing church services at St. Cornelius and other Catholic Churches for many years, and recently for St. Dunstan’s in Summit Cove, CO. She also was the Choral Accompanist at Millikan High School.
Carol had many interests, biking was her favorite and she loved to spend time at her summer home in Dillon, CO.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, and grandson Kristopher. She is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Oglesby and Jaymie Skidmore, children Teresa Alvarado Babcock, Robert Alvarado, Anne Babiczuk and Donna Bennett, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many friends.
