Carol Drum Slosson
February 24, 1930 — October 7, 2021
Born February 24, 1930 in the Seaside Hospital, the long-time Long Beach resident passed away peacefully on October 7, 2021.
She was raised in Belmont Shore, attended Lowell and Rogers Elementary schools, then went to Long Beach Poly High School and on to Long Beach City College.
On September 15th of 1950, Carol married Clifford D. Slosson for 71 years. They had three loving children, Barbara (Chris) Hicks, Kathryn Fox, and Kenneth D. (Carol) Slosson.
She was a homemaker, but also enjoyed working at the Gift Shop in Long Beach Memorial Hospital for over 40 years.
Carol and Clifford traveled to Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti and they enjoyed cruising on ships in the Caribbean and Mexico.
Besides traveling, golfing and cooking, she loved her family. She would spend time with the grandkids at their condo in Hawaii.
