Carol L. Skupnik
March 6, 1941 — November 15, 2015
Carol Lee Skupnik was born March 6, 1941 to Joe and Pauline Matz in Chicago, Illinois. Carol has two sisters, Pat who is deceased and is survived by Kathy. Carol was a loving, caring, and generous aunt to ten nieces and nephews. At age 19 Carol married Deacon Ray Skupnik on June 25, 1960 and were married 55 years. They spent many happy times traveling the world together. Carol and Ray were ordained in May 1986. Ray is the face of Deacon but Carol was the heart and soul. Carol was very active at the St. Cyprian Church and dedicated herself to the Feed the Hungry Program. Carol was a master teacher of catechism for both San Diego and Los Angeles. Carol began her career in banking in 1957 and retired in 1996. She also worked financials for the St. Cyprian community feast from 1996 to 2014.
