Carol Lee Foster Buffington died at age 89 on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Lakewood Gardens Memory Care Facility in Downey, CA.
Carol was born in Greenville, PA to Lee and Jessie Grace Foster. Her siblings are Don Foster (deceased), Mary Smith, Nancy Hill and Janet Kay Strattan. She married Morris Buffington in Arizona in 1950. Graduated from Compton High School and UCLB and taught at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Bellflower for 17 years. Lived mostly in Bellflower, CA and Cochise, AZ.
Survived by husband, Morris Buffington, and children, Ted and Donna Buffington, Tim and Sonja Buffington, Peggy and Donald Hughes, Tom and Debby Buffington, Dan and Ronda Buffington, Sandra and David Parker, 23 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.
Funeral at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 16115 Studebaker Rd, Cerritos, CA 90703 on January 20, 2022. Viewing 10 a.m. Funeral 11 a.m. and Interment at Rose Hills, Whittier at 2 p.m. handled by Luyben Dilday Mortuary in Long Beach, CA.
