Bonnie Ann Beebe Holland was born on July 21, 1957 to Abla and Tofik (two-feek') Beebe. She was the second child, comfortably sandwiched in between her big sister Connie and her little brother Tommie. Bonnie was a happy and curious little girl! Some of her fondest memories were in the early years of her life...getting together with her cousins and her family, and having bar-be-cues, birthday parties, and enjoying the reassuring comfort that only a family's company can bring.
Bonnie was a very independent woman! She moved to Arizona and worked as an airline stewardess for many years. She was SO beautiful! Her face and figure, along with her contagious smile, instantly put her travelers at ease! Later on in life, she was employed by the United States Postal Service. She remained with the US Postal Service until she was physically too sick to continue working, due to her deteriorating health. Even when she was unable to move freely, she supplemented her income by doing eBay at home.
Bonnie loved all of God's creatures, especially her little dog, Buddy. Oh how Bonnie loved her dear doggie! He stayed by her side throughout her long illness, giving her comfort and love. Unfortunately, Buddy died just days before her death. Even in her sorrow, Bonnie felt blessed to have his loyal companionship and loving friendship for all those years.
She truly loved California and valued spending time with cousins, siblings, her aunt, and her mother. She attempted to move here a few years ago, where she was receiving state of the art treatment at UCLA, which ultimately put her on the road to recovery AND allowed here to be closer to the family she loved and longed for! Unfortunately, for reasons beyond her control, it didn't work out. Her last and final wishes were to return to California....which brings us here today.
Bonnie was a kind soul with a quick and easy laugh. Her curly hair and sparkling eyes were evidence of her fun-loving personality! But perhaps her greatest attribute was her BIG heart! She had such an amazing effect on others that even her friends in Arizona are having a Celebration of Life Memorial Service in her honor. Bonnie truly suffered a great deal towards the latter part of her life with numerous health problems, and was constantly in and out of the hospital due to a plethora of devastating health issues.
She is survived by her two sons, Al and Phillip, her mother, Abla, her brother, Tommie, and her sisters, Tanya and Cindy. Bonnie was a daughter, mother, auntie, cousin, grandmother and friend, during her short 57 years of life on this Earth. On October 19, 2014, she breathed her last breath. Her wishes have now been fulfilled, and she is where she has longed to be....in California. She is no longer suffering and at last, is free from interminable and constant pain! She is with her beloved father and sweet sister in heaven...in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Bonnie is finally at peace...
May God rest her soul and grant her life eternal.
