Betty Ann Beers Fritz was born in San Diego, California. She grew up in Chula Vista, Ca. She graduated from Chula Vista High School in l950. She lived in Long Beach and worked at McDonnell Douglas for 35 years. She belonged to the American Business Women's Association, to U.A.W. Local 148, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She is preceded in death by her parents Madge & Harry Beers, brothers William & Leonard Beers, sister Irma Barter & her husband Richard "Dick" Fritz. She is survived by her brother Wesley J. Beers, of Chula Vista, nieces Beverly Barter, of Phoenix, Arizona, Melinda Beers Morales of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Teresa Bee of Chula Vista. two grandnephews Jude & Jonah Bee, of Chula Vista.
Visitation is will Monday, February 9th from 4 - 7 pm with the Rosary at 6 pm at the Luyben Dilday Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 10th at 10 am at St. Pancratius Church with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery.
