Beatrice Strawser (Bea)

October 9, 2019, we lost our mother, Beatrice (Bea) Strawser. Mom was 100 years old and had been in failing health for many years.

Mom was a devout Catholic and a loving wife and mother. Mom met our Dad in Long Beach CA at a Navy Homecoming dance. Mom married Dad in 1940 at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Long Beach and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1990.

Five children, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren brought much joy to Mom during her lifetime. She was a wonderful artist, excellent seamstress, and avid reader until macular degeneration destroyed her vision. As her health continued to decline our oldest brother and his wife cared for Mom in her home.

We love you Mom and are comforted to know that you are with Dad and surrounded by all your loved ones. Thank you for your many years of devotion to your church and family. You are always in our hearts and prayers.
