Barbara Ann Brannan was born on October 1, 1930 daughter of Charles and Dorothea Brannan.
Barbara Ann Oates, daughter of Charles and Dorothea Brannon passed away on June 26, 2018. Barbara was born in Chillicothe, Ohio and met the love of her life John Oates. It was love at first sight and they were married on August 29, 1946 before John set sail to serve our country. Barbara and John then moved to Long Beach, CA a few years later where they raised their family and were married for 52 years prior to the passing of her beloved John. Barbara loved cooking and would open her home to family and friends sharing her delicious meals. Barbara was extremely outgoing who never met a stranger, a voracious reader, loved to tell a story and extremely generous with her love and warm smile.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Dorothy, Wayne, Robert and James and great grandchild Destiny. She is survived by her children Jimmie, Julie, Pamela, Michael, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished and remembered by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends.
