Barbara Ann Davis (Brown)
Born on March 28, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah as the beloved daughter of Mervin Morris Brown and Winnona Naomi Gabbitas Brown.
Barbara graduated from Oakland High School in 1957. Shortly after graduation, Barbara found her career calling in real estate and was a passionate broker in the residential industry for over 45 years, having begun her career in Piedmont, CA and the broader San Francisco and Oakland Bay Area. Before retiring, she achieved the Presidential Sales Executive Award for her client account management on behalf of JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa.
Barbara lived a life full of love and laughter, and always enjoyed the spotlight, especially while singing her favorite big band, swing, or jazz tune at her local nightclub.
Barbara is survived by her two sons, Ron Bottano and wife Sherri, and Steve Peterson and fiancé Lori Mendenhall Smith; and three grandchildren Joseph, Paige, and Eve.
She was preceded in death by her parents; as well as her brother, Jerry G. Brown and sister, Kay Maureen Kindorf.
Memorial services will be held at 11AM Thursday August 23rd at Luyben Dilday Mortuary in Long Beach, CA.
