Anthony "Tony" Distefano

Tony Distefano passed away in the loving arms of his children and daughter-in-law on September 16th. Tony went to be with his Lord and Savior and entered into His eternal presence. He was a devoted husband who cherished and adored his family by always leading by faith and compassion. He was a proud Italian who was passionate in sports, never missing a single Nebraska Cornhusker football game. Tony showed his strength and commitment as a Brown belt in Kemp Karate and business owner for over 25 plus years. After 40 beautiful years of marriage, with his wife Wilhelmina Distefano, he then lived by dedicating his time to his children and his 6 beautiful grandchildren who adored their “Nanu.” Tony was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Willie; father, Nathan Distefano and mother, Janet Distefano. He is survived by his beloved son, Nathan (Stacey) Distefano, loving daughters Natalie Distefano, Nina (Lance) Jordan and Nita (Derek) Gulley; grandchildren, Evan and Elissa Distefano, Logan, Dylan and Savannah Jordan, Jaxon Gulley. He is also survived by his brother, Leonard, along with his sisters, Marianna Funk and Joanne Luyben.

The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 3rd at 11am at St. Cyprian Church.
