Andrina Lois Summerfelt, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Long Beach, California, after a battle with cancer. Andrina was born May 1, 1934 in Los Angeles, California to Louis and Angela Sandoval. Andrina thoroughly had a zest of life; she was always bigger than life and the life of the party. Family and friends were a passion and delight to Andrina. She loved to entertain and did a bit of entertaining herself at get togethers. She made friends easily and enjoyed her time with her family. Andrina loved watching sports, whether it was her children, grandchildren or football on TV, as well as the game of life. In 1952, Andrina married the love of her life Willard Summerfelt: he preceded her in death August 17, 1998. Together they enjoyed traveling to the Eastern Sierra's and Pismo Beach, among other places, but these two were special. They made memories on these trips with their children that will never be forgotten. Andrina was a member of St. Joseph's Church, an active volunteer, while her children attended school there, and later on in life with the Senior Group. Her children Linda Gaye Merrill, Ladd Summerfelt, Jerry Summerfelt, Kim Summerfelt and Dean Summerfelt survive Andrina. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
