After R. G. Coxson & Co, Alan went to work managing Weymouth Distributing in Los Angeles until his well-earned retirement. He was deeply valued and highly respected in all the positions by both co-workers and clients.
A most treasured moment in Alan’s life was when his daughter Melissa married Baltimore Padron III on July 19, 2014. It was a beautiful ceremony in the mountains with many close family and friends in attendance. It was an amazing day filled with love.
Alan was an avid Lakers fan, often enjoying an ice cold beer while watching games with his wife Mary. He enjoyed listening to the Beatles, skiing, road trips, Iowa visits and getting together with friends and family. He also enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast at a nearby Café with Mary, Melissa and Baltimore (along with any visitors who happened to stop by on Saturday). He had a quiet sense of humor and was loving, kind and generous.
