Jason G. Lindsey

Jason Guy Lindsey born September 22, 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on November 14, 2020 in Long Beach, California from esophageal cancer. Jason grew up in Albuquerque, graduating from Rio Grande High School. He attended University of New Mexico for short while then decided to go to Europe, ending up in Amsterdam for a year. He met an American friend and traveled with him back to the states, in Newport Beach, CA. He came to Long Beach, CA and that is where he remained for the rest of life. This is where he met his wife and started a family.  Although Jason’s 35+ year career was in IT, because it paid the bills, his passion was music and the arts. He loved to write stories and read everything he could get his hands on. He loved to sing, and learned to play guitar while singing, even performing in public. He loved spending time with his family and showing his kids everything that he could to make sure they knew they are loved, and that they become kind, considerate, respectful and well-rounded adults.

He is survived his wife, Christine ‘Christy’ Lindsey, daughter Ella (14), son Lucas (13), brother Stuart Lindsey, sister Sara Weeks, sister Kathleen Hardison, Aunt Clarene McKnew, and 8 nieces and nephews.

Virtual memorial services will be held Tuesday November 24th at 11am PST on Zoom.
